Jeff Gordon Celebrity Bowl Benefits Riley Hospital for Children

Kelly Kulick has participated in the Jeff Gordon Celebrity Bowl to Benefit the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event takes place every year prior to the Brickyard 400 Mile Race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The benefit has raised $1.5 million over the past 8 years. The Riley Hospital for Children is the only comprehensive hospital that is dedicated exclusively to the care of children in Indiana.

Gordon is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and grew up in Pittsboro, Indiana.

Bowl for the Cure

Kelly Kulick has participated in the Bowl for the Cure Event (BFTC) event in Saginaw, Michigan the last 2 years. Last year’s event raised nearly $24,000. This past February 26, over $34,000 was raised. Bowlers, non bowlers, and people from all walks of life come out for an evening of fun and entertainment at the 40 lane bowling center with 5-6 bowlers per team. Each participant is asked to make a minimum donation of $25.00 and local sponsors help pay for the cost of bowling. Through donations and purchases, the staff auction off gift baskets, flat screen tvs, Detroit Flyers memorabilia, pink items to name a few. Kelly has donated signed bowling shirts, autographed photos, and autographed bowling balls.

Kelly has been asked to participate again next year and hopes the event into her schedule

Bowl for the Cure® is a year-round fund-raising and breast cancer awareness initiative sponsored by USBC and The Bowling Foundation in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a foundation that has raised over $1 billion as the world’s largest grassroots organization of breast cancer survivors and activists. Since the initiative’s inception in 2000, people from across the country have hit the lanes to raise close to $8 million for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and its affiliates. More recently, the eight-annual USBC Bowl for the Cure event set a record when nearly 800 participants raised $73,500 in a single day at Milwaukee’s AMF Bowlero Lanes, helping Bowl for the Cure® achieve its annual fundraising goal of $1 million.
