Nutrition & Diet

While on tour, professional bowlers face many challenges when it comes to eating well balanced meals and maintaining a healthy schedule. Most professional bowlers live in hotel rooms from week to week with no amenities for cooking or storing food. The bowling schedule often means the bowlers are in competition during normal meal times. Kelly overcomes these challenges by planning her meals and making healthy choices in restaurants.

During competition Kelly relies on protein bars or kashi bars to sustain her energy and drinks lots of water to stay dehydrated.

When home, Kelly loves to cook and maintains a diet that is well balanced and compliments her work out regimen.

Kelly loves to watch cooking shows on tv and plans to be a chef when she is finished bowling on tour. Her favorite food is pizza – in moderation of course.
